The initial entrance in to Prague Castle is free. You can pay on the day if you wish to explore inside e.g the Cathedral.

Because I’m getting mixed up with reviews saying no need to buy and some say need to buy. I’m kinda confused. And also, if I need to buy ticket, can I just pay on arrival with their local currency in cash? I may just wanna see the St Vitus Cathedral from outside. Thank you.
