It is loud but not terrible. Our captain forgot to bring enough headsets so we went without them. We were not able to talk to each other while the engine was going but the noise didn't bother me or my kids (10 & 12 years old). We stopped several times for the pilot to give us interesting information. We had a really good experience with this company

They were excellent with our 12 & 14 year olds but I didn’t see any children younger than 10 in any of the groups that left at the same time as we did or when we got back.
