Is the Red Tide still an issue at Juno beach and surrounding beaches on the East Coast ? We were planning to visit during the Dec Holidays so wanted to check beforehand if the beaches are going to be OK.

No rocks to speak of. Seaweed is seasonal and sargassum weed has been prevalent recently but it comes and goes and is usually not a problem. Not sure about renting fishing gear. …
No rocks to speak of. Seaweed is seasonal and sargassum weed has been prevalent recently but it comes and goes and is usually not a problem. Not sure about renting fishing gear. Maybe a website is available for the pier. Water is clear unless it's been very stormy. Surf usually turns up when there are storms and there are websites for surfers to keep track of waves and locations. (son is big surfer and in Costa Rica now surfing, lol).
