We saw the lighthouse on the ferry trip back from Bald Head Island. You can get a picture of it as you can see it from the ferry. It's too bad you can't get any closer to the lighthouse.Full review by dougw492
I have taken the ferry from Fort Fisher to Southport many times and never knew it existed or seen it. Is it only visible leaving Southport ferry? If so that would explain why I've never noticed it.
