This is the place to watch the most perfect Sunset! Sandy with a sidewalk! Bring your chair & blanket, your kiddy buckets & shovels! So fun! And the sand glitters with gold! Full review by jerif2016

Not so much, Kathi. If you can get to Laguna Beach, your opportunities will increase. We've spent a lot of time in Oceanside and it just does not have those coves and protected areas for fish to congregate. Now, if you are into surfing or paddle boarding or something more open-water oriented, then your opportunities will increase. Oceanside just does not have those protected marine areas unless you go around by the second part of the marina (not the main part of the marina by Harbor Village); you need to walk further. It's more protected here and chances of finding fish to see are better. The water is also more tranquil. But, in all honesty, Oceanside would not be where I would go to snorkel. Many water sports activities abound but snorkeling? Maybe not so much.
Q:
Are dogs allowed on beach or any beach in Oceanside?
A:
Yes, Buccaneer Beach
