8 cottages, circa 1880, nestle in a valley of vineyards, surrounded by red stone hills, displaying their own natural windows. All cottages with air conditioner, limited satellite tv and spectacular view of the red stone hills and the vineyards. We farm ostriches, vineyards, cattle and sheep. Free tractor rides in the mornings for children when feeding the farm animals. We offer hiking and walking trails, horse riding, swimming in pool or river and bird watching [212 species ] Our farm is situated between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp, 6 km on the Kruisrivier turnoff. Scenic route from our farm via the foot of the Swartberg mountains to the Cango Caves.
The cottage was ideally situated -away from the dusty road and in amongst indigenous bush with an uninterrupted view of the Red Hill. Bonus was that we saw the Booted Eagle and its juvenile up there …Full review by kgould891683

Enon Cottage is in a lovely location with beautiful views of the red stone hills around. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need. It was very hot while we were there so the ACs in the bedroom…Full review by 220mazzab
