It wasn’t that much worse than other zoos, despite what some of the other reviews claim. You can walk around and see the animals at your own pace if you prefer. If you go on the little buses you get …Full review by ChristieFrisky

Honestly I wouldn't recommend booking at all it's overpriced and horrible
What makes this place a "Chiang Mai Night Safari is a vocational study center building the concept of environmental foresty and wild life conservation." It's just a zoo isn't it?

It's a nice marketing mumbo-jumbo phrase, that's for sure. And here we wonder how cynicism came to be. To be fair it is more than a zoo, and seeing animals in surroundings closer to their natural habitats is something. Also there are some activities aiming at educating and conservating. But yes, it is a zoo, and a touristy one, too. But animals are much healthier than most Thai zoos.
I'm wondering how those who experienced the Night Safari felt after their experience and knowing the program to be conceived and run by what appears to be an environmental group which receives the revenue? It makes an analogy like Ralph Nader driving a diesel crew cab 4x4, never changing oil and filter.
A:
Not an environmental driven park at all. Also, your experience may vary at this place; we did not like it, as many aspects of it is poorly managed.
