I’m pretty sure that it’s day use only. There is a campground up hwy 4, right at Dorrington, down Boards Crossing rd (baring left) down to Sourgrass campground. It is dry camping without hookups. If there is room, it’s a nice spot close to the river. Also, there is another one on Hwy 4 but they are mostly purchased sites. There may be camping in Calaveras Big trees but I can’t remember.Hope this helps.
