This was the one spur-of-the-moment thing we did on Maui. The Atlantis Submarine Maui have a water shuttle to bring you out to the sub, and then after the people on the sub get off, your crowd gets …Full review by Flyer553387

Questions & answers

Q:
Hello. Can you tell me if there are bathrooms aboard the submarine?
A:
There are no bathrooms on the sub but plenty of them onshore before and after. The sub tour is captivating it moves around to show you a variety of sea Corp and fish.
Q:
How does this tour compare to the Oahu tour?
A:

It is basically the same tour in my opinion. It's really the luck of the draw what wildlife you will see. If you have already done one tour, I'd recommend not doing the other. Instead, I'd buy or rent some simple snorkel gear and ask a local person the best reefs nearby to check out! That is what we did and we saw way more sea life than we did on the sub- Eels, 5 sea turtles huge schools of fish, sting rays, baby sharks, etc.
Q:
Does the submarine move or do you just stay submerged in one place?
A:
The submarine does move . We were at 150 feet moving around the bottom of the ocean floor.
Q:
Can pregnant women go on submarine?

Aloha! Just as someone else stated - as long as you can go up and down the steep ladder and fit through the opening. You should be able to enjoy it. The temp was fine and it's probably pressurized just like an airplane (which I bet you'd use to get to Maui. =D) Seating is close though! Have a great trip!
