Any tips on parking in the evening? Reception staff advised the Cathedral car park is only available to book for classical concerts, however, to just turn up at the cathedral and pay on exit. On checking the cathedral website, the car park closes at 6pm. There seems to be lots of smaller car parks around, but after an hour drive to get to Liverpool, it would be good to know somewhere to head for rather than driving round!

Has anyone been to 'The Teddy Bears Picnic' concert, I was thinking of going this year and taking both my grandsons (aged 3years and 18months). I think the concert lasts about an hour. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Greatest i think is the philharmonic over the road to the phil.They do lovely meals in there been a few times and quite reasonable to.
