The driveway is lined with lighted arches. There is Santa outside once you park and a big fire pit with seating. There was someplace you could get Hot Chocolate or Coffee (don’t know if they charge) …Full review by jess51bum

Wonderful trip to Stan Hewlett during the holiday season. Beautiful decorations, organized self guided tour! Highly recommend going at dusk …it is not crowded but it is dark enough to see the lights!Full review by Sarrah H

I don't think there is a 'best' time; that partially depends on your preferences. Any time of year the house will be beautiful. You might enjoy the all out decorating at Christmas time. But then again that will be a distraction. If you are really into gardens and plants you might prefer spring and early summer. Although I feel the Japanese garden will be delightful any time of year. If I lived close enough I would want to experience all the seasons.
