The trails are smooth and paved. We had no problem there. The challenge was the many steps (ie as in short stairs) throughout though we (74 years) did it slowly and managed. There were handrails in most areas which helped. Also the steps are well designed ie not high. There may be rougher trails off the usual paths but we did not go off the main areas so I can’t comment on those. But the main areas are fine. If you visit 2 or 3 areas each day be prepared to walk 15000 to 20000 steps (level and up and down steps)
