Toronto Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews appears to be back at his best, as evidenced by his impressive run of success following his return from injury.

When Auston Matthews is lightning the lamp, there is no worry for the Toronto Maple Leafs when it comes to generating offense. Matthews had his second multi-goal game of the season when the Maple Leafs defeated the New Jersey Devils 4-3 in overtime to snap a season-high three-game losing streak.

Auston Matthews is set to return to the Maple Leafs lineup Saturday night against the Boston Bruins after missing the last six games with an undisclosed injury. “It’s exciting,” Matthews said Saturday morning. “It’s never fun watching.”
