Penn State head football coach James Franklin wasn’t thrilled about the fact that the Big Ten Football Media Days were held in Las Vegas and he let the media know about it. Franklin talked about the fact that the conference should have the media days in “Big 10 country” rather than an outpost like Las Vegas.

The college football media days circuit carries on this week in the desert as Big Ten Media Days takes over the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Between July 22-24, the league will host all 18 teams as part of a three-day event, featuring 18 coaches and 54 players.

Illinois football sent three players and head coach Bret Bielema to Las Vegas for 2025 Big Ten football media days. The Illini opted to have quarterback Luke Altmyer, offensive lineman J.C. Davis and defensive back Xavier Scott represent them as the 2025 season approaches.
