Family, friends and fans have turned out for the funeral of singer Linda Nolan. A memorial for the Dublin-born star started at 10:30 GMT at St Paul's Church, Blackpool, where she also got married to her husband of two decades Brian Hudson.

The beloved singer and cancer awareness campaigner died at the age of 65 on January 15, 2025, after battling to live life to the full despite her breast cancer diagnosis.

Nolan married her husband of more than two decades, Brian Hudson, in the Blackpool church, and said goodbye to him there after he died in 2007, according to her family. Dublin-born singer Nolan died on January 15 at the age of 65 in the seaside town’s hospital, surrounded by her family.

The service will take place at St Paul’s Church in Blackpool at 10.30am. St Paul’s is the same church where Linda married her husband Brian Hudson in 1981 and where he was laid to rest after he died in 2007, according to the family.
