Officials in India say more than 40 construction workers are missing after an avalanche hit their camp in Uttarakhand state.

In Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, an avalanche has resulted in seven deaths. Ongoing rescue operations have already saved 46 individuals, with one still missing. The incident, triggered by a glacier burst in Mana village,
