Microsoft continues to make good on its campaign of making every device possible "an Xbox" with the Xbox Cloud Gaming app coming to select LG televisions.

LG ’s latest update to its TV operating system (first teased back in January) brings with it the Xbox app, albeit currently in a beta version. The result means that you can now play any cloud-streamed game on your display without a console. All you’ll need is an Xbox controller and a Game Pass Ultimate subscription to enable cloud streaming.

Specific LG TVs now support the Xbox app, letting players use Xbox Cloud Gaming to stream games directly to their TV. Microsoft previously promised that this functionality was on the way earlier in the year,
