More than 5,000 protestors gathered at Houston City Hall on Saturday morning to oppose policies introduced by President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE.

Hands Off!” rallies took place in Chicago, Boston, Washington, D.C., New York City and other cities across the country on Saturday.

More than 1,200 “Hands Off!” demonstrations were planned by more than 150 groups, including civil rights organizations, labor unions, LBGTQ+ advocates, veterans and elections activists. The protest sites included the National Mall in Washington, D.C., state capitols and other locations in all 50 states.
