Veteran defensive lineman Jerry Tillery is heading to Kansas City. Tillery is signing a one-year deal with the Chiefs, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The 28-year-old Tillery was a 2019 first-round pick of the Chargers who then played for the Raiders before signing with the Vikings last year.

On Friday, March 14, news broke that the Kansas City Chiefs had agreed to terms on a one-year contract with former Minnesota Vikings DL Jerry Tillery.

The Chiefs lost defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton and defensive end and defensive end Josh Uche in free agency so Tillery will help replace those players. He has experience playing on the interior and exterior of the defensive line. His versatility should help the Chiefs.
