Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said Thursday, Philadelphia had Jihaad Campbell graded as a top-10 player on its board.

The Eagles routinely put on clinics when navigating the NFL draft board. Thursday night was no different after the team waited and eventually traded up one spot with the Chiefs to select Jihaad Campbell out of Alabama.

Last season, Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio pursued linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel as that hybrid pass rusher who can play off-ball linebacker at times. The Eagles failed to sign Van Ginkel and pivoted to Zack Baun, envisioning him in that role.
