Morikawa, who is ranked No. 5 in the world, made five cuts with Greiner as his caddie but tied for 50th at the PGA Championship and finished T23 at the U.S. Open.

"I think Joe is an amazing caddie," Morikawa said. "We were just a little bit on a different page. That doesn't mean it's right or wrong, but for me it just didn't feel right.
