Scream 7 is being directed by Kevin Williamson, who wrote the original 1996 Scream slasher. Neve Campbell is returning to the franchise after sitting out the sixth film, and other cast members include Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Mckenna Grace, Anna Camp, Joel McHale and Mark Consuelos.

That on its own wouldn’t be a big deal… save for the fact that his character, Dewey, died in the fifth film. (Killed by recent Anora Oscar winner Mikey Madison, actually, which is beside the point.)
