Protests against the Trump administration are being held across the country today, including in Michigan’s capital city, as part of the “No Kings”

The ‘No Kings’ protests are in response to President Donald Trump’s actions in office, including a $45 million “military parade.”

Lawmakers and faith leaders are calling for calm ahead of a Saturday protest in Lansing, part of a nationwide day of action critical of the Trump administration.

"No Kings" demonstrations against Trump are planned in dozens of Michigan cities, from Ann Arbor to Battle Creek, Bay City, Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Muskegon and beyond.
