ESPN's Jordan Reid reported that while the Raiders and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty are "one of the most linked pairings in this draft," Las Vegas could look to the defensive side of the ball in a trade-down scenario.
While it seems unlikely the Raiders will take a quarterback at No. 6 overall, it is more likely than the Steelers being able to grab him at No. 21. This is the second of Sanders' reported visits and won't be the last, as the NFL draft is less than three weeks away.
The Las Vegas Raiders have already begun rebuilding their roster this offseason under new general manager John Spytek. He let several of the team's best defenders leave in free agency for bigger contracts and instead signed a handful of players who were cheaper and fit the mold of what head coach Pete Carroll wants in a player.
