Lucknow Super Giants are out of IPL 2025 playoff contention after a six-wicket loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad. With LSG out, the MI vs DC clash on 21 May has turned into a virtual quarterfinal for the final playoff spot.

Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings' win on Sunday left Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants fighting for the final playoffs berth.

MI will be through if they win their last two matches against DC and PBKS. They will also go through if they beat DC and lose to PBKS, but LSG doesn't win more than two out of their three.
