Former South Korean President Moon Jae-in has been indicted on corruption charges in connection to his purported role in his former son-in-law's employment at an airline company.

South Korean prosecutors indicted former president Moon Jae-in for alleged bribery on Thursday, making him the latest former leader of the country to face legal troubles in a case linked to the appointment of his then son-in-law at a Thai airline.

Former South Korean President Moon Jae-in has called his bribery indictment “unjust” and accused prosecutors of abusing their power in what he called a politically motivated investigation.
