ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Kirill Kaprizov scored two goals for the second straight game, and the Minnesota Wild defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 5-2 in Game 3 of the Western Conference First Round at Xcel Energy Center on Thursday.

The Minnesota Wild’s first-round playoff series against Vegas is tied, 1-1, headed into Game 3 on Thursday at Xcel Energy Center. In the battle of top lines, however, Minnesota has been the clear winner so far.

The Minnesota Wild’s top line has left its fingerprints all over its first-round playoff series with the Golden Knights through two games. Left wing Kirill Kaprizov has five points, while right wing Matt Boldy has four.
