In a new press release, the WNBA announced it has reached a new "multiyear partnership" with NBA 2K after record-setting engagement.

“NBA 2K has engaged a new generation of basketball fans in an increasingly digital world,” said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. “By expanding our partnership and creating NBA Take-Two Media, we look forward to building on the incredible success of the NBA 2K franchise.”

The WNBA, the WNBPA, and 2K announced an agreement in principle for a multiyear partnership extension that will continue to expand the presence and impact of the WNBA and its players within the world of gaming.
