The New York Knicks get a chance to even their best-of-seven series with the Indiana Pacers when they meet in Game 6 of their 2025 NBA Eastern Conference finals on Saturday. New York staved off elimination with a 111-94 win in Game 5 on Thursday.

Thibodeau has begun expanding his lineups and giving more runway to the likes of Delon Wright and Landry Shamet, who have done an excellent job playing perimeter defense. Shamet has the second-best defensive rating of any player in the conference finals (East or West) with a minimum of two total minutes played.

The Indiana Pacers wasted one chance to wrap up the Eastern Conference finals. They don’t intend to let it happen again.
