Three Planned Parenthood affiliates filed a lawsuit Tuesday asking a federal judge to invalidate a Trump administration notice that the health providers allege imposes unlawful requirements for the government’s grants for teen pregnancy prevention programs.

A coalition of 22 Democratic-led states and the District of Columbia is seeking to halt the Trump administration from defunding Planned Parenthood, following a provision in President Donald Trump’s domestic agenda package.

The new cuts are focused on services such as cancer screenings and tests, birth control and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.
