Consumer electronics major Samsung on Friday said it has received a record 4.3 lakh pre-orders for its latest smartphone Galaxy S25, which has a starting price of Rs 80,999 and goes up to Rs 1.65 lakh. These pre-orders are 20 per cent higher than its predecessor S24 series, Samsung India said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Samsung's premium flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, is priced at Rs 1,29,999 for the 256GB version, Rs 1,41,999 for the 512GB variant, and Rs 1,65,999 for the 1TB model. It is available in Titanium Silverblue, Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, and Titanium Whitesilver.

The demand has been particularly strong among young tech-savvy consumers, Pullan highlighted. Samsung has expanded its distribution network to meet the growing demand for the S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra, he added. All the devices are being manufactured locally at its Noida factory.
