The Los Angeles Kings will play the Edmonton Oilers in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Los Angeles (46-24-9) is second in the Pacific Division and leads Edmonton (46-28-5) by four points with three games remaining for each team. The team that finishes higher will have home-ice advantage in the best-of-7 series.

The Winnipeg Jets will open the playoffs against the West’s second wild-card team following their historic victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday. For the first time since relocating from Atlanta in 2011, the Jets are division champions and can call themselves the kings of the Central Division.
