Saturday will start dry and sunny, before cloud gradually spreads from the west through late morning and early afternoon, bringing patches of light rain, drizzle, and mist. Top temperatures will range from 16C to 21C in a light southwesterly breeze.

Northern areas of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland are set to be the worst hit areas, according to the Met Office, with a yellow warning in place.

Storm Floris has been named by the Met Office and will hit the UK on Monday, bringing strong winds and heavy rain. It is the fifth named storm this season and the first since January.
