The long awaited Nintendo Switch 2 is nearly here. According to an announcement from the video game company, the Nintendo Switch 2 will be available to pre-order in the U.S. starting Thursday, which is six weeks before the new system will be released on June 5.

Gamers, rejoice. The next generation of Nintendo gaming is almost here. The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch on June 5, and pre-orders open on April 24 at Walmart. Bigger and better display: Enjoy games on a vibrant 7.9-inch LCD display with 1080p resolution and HDR support.

After that whole tariff tango, Nintendo is readying its North American pre-order system for the Switch 2. The original Switch 2 price will remain the same, $450, as will the original $500 for the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle.
