The man accused of killing three people in Broward County last month faced a judge for the first time since a grand jury indicted him.

The gun allegedly used by Nathan Gingles in the Feb. 16 shootings of his estranged wife, his father-in-law and an uninvolved neighbor was one he owned and had previously surrendered to authorities

A man charged in a horrific triple killing in a Tamarac neighborhood last month that left his estranged wife, her father and a neighbor dead was back in court Friday morning. Nathan Gingles’ attorney entered a not guilty plea for him during the brief court appearance.

Newly obtained documents detail a troubling marriage involving allegations of stalking, numerous 911 calls and restraining orders leading up to a triple murder.

Broward County Sheriff's Office documents showed that Nathan Gingles handed over dozens of guns and ammunition to BSO a year before the killings; however, it was all returned just months before he was accused of killing his ex-wife and her neighbor,

The handgun and suppressor police believe was used to kill a Tamarac mother, her father and her neighbor last month was returned to the accused killer by the Broward Sheriff’s Office, according to recently obtained records.
