At least nine tornadoes have been confirmed in Texas following the severe storms that swept through the state Sunday.
The NWS Fort Worth TX released a tornado watch at 8:57 p.m. on Monday in effect until 9 p.m. The watch is for Collin, Denton, Parker, Wise, Cooke, Fannin, Grayson, Jack, Lamar, Montague, Palo Pinto, Stephens and Young counties.
The National Weather Service encourages people to have multiple ways of being warned, which can include weather radios, a cellphone app or other methods

The NWS Fort Worth TX released a tornado watch at 8:14 p.m. on Sunday in effect until 10 p.m. The watch is for Collin, Dallas, Denton, Johnson, Tarrant, Cooke, Ellis, Grayson and Rockwall counties.
This after an estimated 21 tornadoes were reported on May 18. Tornadoes damaged homes just before 7 p.m. local time at Grinnell, along Interstate 70 in northeast Kansas, and just before midnight in the area of Plevna in south-central Kansas, the weather service said. No injuries were reported.
