New Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith will have a valuable resource as he gets acclimated to his new surroundings. Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, a Raiders minority owner, is just one phone call away when Smith needs advice.

"I want to be a sponge. I want to soak up as much knowledge as I can from him. I want to learn as much as I can from him, the greatest quarterback to play the game," Smith said.

Following a career-resurrecting six-year stint with the Seattle Seahawks, Geno Smith was traded to the Raiders last month in exchange for a third-round pick. The 34-year-old has since signed a two-year, $75 million contract extension with the team as they look to reset things under new head coach Pete Carroll.
