Two new tropical storms are churning in both the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific Oceans. Tropical Storm Fernand formed first on Sunday, Aug. 24, over the Atlantic Ocean, according to a forecast advisory previously issued by the National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami.

Tropical Storm Fernand is expected to continue weakening over the central Atlantic Ocean for the next couple of days and pose no threat to land, the National Hurricane Center in Miami said early Tuesday.
