Your Madness level can determine the amount of Red Mercury you drop when you die, give you an attack boost, increase the damage you take and, at a certain level, get an Inner Demon that can help you take on tough enemies in Wuchang Fallen Feathers.

There are many ways to reduce your madness in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, the first of which is simply being killed by your Inner Demon. However, this means you have to die twice in the same location, and you’ll lose all of your Red Mercury.

One useful mechanic in Wuchang is the option to respec, or reallocate your upgrades, at any time. If you feel like you're a little weak or there's something you haven't tried yet, make sure to respec -- don't worry, it's free and can be repeated indefinitely.
