For most of the college football heroes, the NFL Draft is a time for years of sweat, blood, and highlight reels. But for one player a year, it comes with an ironic title too—Mr. Irrelevant. It’s the title afforded by the last selection of the NFL Draft.

Jihaad Campbell, who has started the majority of the past two seasons as a Crimson Tide linebacker, was selected with the No. 31 overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, which traded up one spot to secure the Alabama defender.

Players with ties to Connecticut who could be drafted include Tyler Booker, Chase Lundt, Jah Joyner, Prince Boyd, Terron Mallory and Thomas Perry.
