Officials at Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at Austin discovered that several international students had their visas quietly revoked and legal statuses terminated without notice. According to the Associated Press,

The U.S. Secretary of State has said more than 300 student visas have been revoked. That may include two recent graduates of UT Austin, who were staying in the country to work.

Nineteen students at the University of Texas at Dallas, 16 at the University of North Texas and three at Texas Tech now face uncertainty about their ability to stay in the U.S.
