Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's second pilgrimage to Washington under Trump's second term was organized at short notice and billed as an attempt to address the new U.S. tariff regime.

The president signaled some flexibility on tariffs as he hinted at the possibility of deals with certain countries, and he said the U.S. and Iran will hold high-level talks over that country’s nuclear program.
