Tesla Inc.’s shares sank the most in more than four years as Elon Musk and President Donald Trump’s simmering feud devolved into a public war of words between two of the world’s most powerful people.

Tesla investors have soured on Elon Musk’s relationship with Donald Trump after initially welcoming it right after the November 2024 election.

Tesla's shares have fallen 16% since CEO Elon Musk began bashing President Donald Trump's massive spending bill last week, and the stock remains about 33% lower since Inauguration Day.The slide since May 27 follows Musk's departure from the Trump administration and as the the two men's relationship publicly unravels.
