Eminem has reportedly joined the effort to bring a WNBA franchise back to Detroit. According to Sportico, which cites someone familiar with the process, the Detroit rapper has joined a bid group which includes the likes of Tom Gores, Sheila Ford, Jared Goff, Mary Barra, Grant Hill and Chris Webber.

Eminem is looking to bring women's professional hoops to his hometown. According to Sportico, Slim Shady joined a group seeking a WNBA expansion team in Detroit. The bid reportedly includes Em alongside powerful business executives and sports team owners such as group leader and Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores.
