Connecticut’s real gross domestic product grew 1.8% in the fourth quarter of 2024, compared with a national rate of 2.4%.

A new report from the state shows that crime overall declined in Connecticut between the first three-quarters of 2023 and 2024, but animal cruelty cases and wire fraud showed stark increases.
