The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday declined to lift a judge’s order that the Trump administration “facilitate” the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, admonishing the Justice Department

An appeals panel unanimously refused to suspend a judge’s decision to order sworn testimony by Trump officials to determine if they complied with her order to facilitate Abrego Garcia’s return.

A federal appeals court said it will not pause a district court order that required the Trump administration to facilitate the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador.
