DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks have hired a new team president to oversee much of the day-to-day operations of the franchise as the team plans for a new arena. The team announced Tuesday that it hired Ethan Casson, a former executive with the Minnesota Timberwolves and San Francisco 49ers, for the newly created role.
