Looking right at Donald Trump on Friday afternoon in the Oval Office, Gov. Kathy Hochul tried a different approach from telling him he was acting like a king for his attempt to end New York’s pay-for-entry congesting pricing system.

Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) has adopted a more aggressive persona in response to the Trump administration’s move to end New York City’s congestion pricing, to mixed reception. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy informed Hochul in a Wednesday letter that the federal government was terminating approval of the controversial policy.

Gov. Kathy Hochul will travel to Washington, D.C., next week to meet with President Donald Trump about congestion pricing. Channel 7 Eyewitness News said that Hochul is expected to lay out the reasons why the controversial program should remain in place.
