Known for contributing to Donny Hathaway's holiday classic, McKinnor, 83, is in good spirits amid health challenges. Her family and friends started a GoFundMe to assist with medical expenses.

Roston is still obsessed with Hathaway, bringing his solo show, dubbed “Twisted Melodies,” to the Northlight Theatre in Skokie a decade after Congo Square, following other stagings.
