Aston Villa have announced the club's intent to upgrade and expand the North Stand at Villa Park. As part of the redevelopment of the iconic stand, it will see its capacity increased to over 12,000.

The charge - which is dated April 11, 2025 - follows a similar move made by NSWE in November last year. On that occasion the lender was understood to have been US investment banking powerhouse Goldman Sachs, with the same lender being likely in this particular case given the same playbook being applied.
